Privacy Policy
Overview
CodeOxi ("we", "our", or "us") operates codeoxi.com — a curated discovery platform for developer software. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. The short version: we collect very little and never sell your data.
Information we collect
CodeOxi is a read-only browsing experience for public visitors. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the platform.
The only information we may process:
- Server logs. Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, automatically logs standard HTTP request data (IP address, browser user-agent, page requested, timestamp). We do not control or export these logs and they are subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Theme preference. If you toggle dark/light mode, that preference is stored in your browser's
localStorage. It never leaves your device. - Emails you send us. If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you.
Cookies & tracking
CodeOxi does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking scripts. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar service. The only browser storage we use is localStorage for your theme preference.
Third-party services
The platform is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare D1 for data storage. All traffic passes through Cloudflare's global network. External links on product cards point to third-party websites — once you click through, those sites' own privacy policies apply.
Google Fonts is used to load the Inter typeface. Your browser makes a request to Google's servers when loading any CodeOxi page. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Data retention
We do not store personal data beyond what is described above. Cloudflare log retention is governed by Cloudflare's policies. Emails you send us are retained in our inbox until manually deleted.
Children's privacy
CodeOxi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of CodeOxi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
