How it works

Three steps, all inside Chrome. No exports, no separate mailing service, no new email address.

  1. Import an Excel or CSV file, or paste a Google Sheets link. The first row holds the column names and one column must be called email. Every other column becomes a merge tag.

    • Edit names or add contacts right in the table
    • Keep as many lists as you like, one per audience

  2. Type {{first_name}}, {{company}} or any column name and it is filled in for each person. Set a fallback like {{first_name|there}} for empty cells.

    • Start from 45 ready-made templates in 10 industries
    • Or let the AI writer draft it, in English or Vietnamese

  3. Open a new email in Gmail, choose the list from the side panel and press ⚡ Send Mass. Each person receives a separate email from your address, one by one, so nobody sees anyone else on the list.

Get started in five minutes

From install to your first send-out.

  1. Install

    Click Add to Chrome, then pin CodeOxi Mail Merge from the puzzle icon in the toolbar.

  2. Sign in with Google

    Open Gmail, click the extension icon to open the side panel and sign in. You allow it to send email and to read the sheets you choose.

  3. Import your list

    Dashboard → Contact lists → Import: choose an Excel/CSV file or paste a Google Sheets link. A CSV template is there too.

  4. Write and preview

    Compose a new email in Gmail. Use the 👥 button to pick the list, the template buttons to fill the email, and merge tags for each person's details.

  5. Send

    Press ⚡ Send Mass and keep the Gmail tab open until the progress bar finishes.

  6. Unlock more

    Bought a key? Paste it in the side panel's License box and click Activate Pro.

Seeing "Google hasn't verified this app"? Google is still reviewing our access request. Click Advanced → Go to CodeOxi Mail Merge to continue. The extension only asks to send email and to read the sheets you pick; it cannot read your inbox. See the extension privacy policy.

Can the extension read my email?
No. It asks Google for two permissions only: to send email you start, and to read the spreadsheet you pick as a recipient list. It cannot open, search or delete anything in your inbox. Your lists, templates and settings stay in your browser.
How many emails can I send a day?
The free plan sends to 50 recipients a day. With a key you are limited only by Gmail itself: about 500 recipients a day for a personal Gmail account and 2,000 for Google Workspace.
Will my emails land in spam?
They go out through Gmail as normal emails from you, one at a time, which helps. Deliverability still depends on what and whom you send: email people who expect to hear from you, keep the subject honest, and avoid sending a large list from a brand-new account on day one.
Do I need my own AI key?
For unlimited AI writing, yes — paste an OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini or Groq key in AI settings. The text goes straight from your browser to that provider; CodeOxi never sees it. Everyone gets 5 free tries.
Can I use one key on several computers?
A key belongs to Gmail accounts, not computers. Individual covers one Gmail account and Pro covers five, on any computer where you sign in with them. Reinstalling doesn't use up a slot.
What happens when my key expires?
Keys last 30 days and are not charged again automatically. The extension switches back to the free plan; your lists and templates stay. We email you a reminder three days before.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Ask within 7 days of buying and we refund you, usually within 7 working days. Details are in the terms.
Is it available in Vietnamese?
Yes. Switch the interface between English and Vietnamese with the VI | EN toggle, and choose which language the AI writes in separately.
